Optical Engineer

Optony Inc. is a developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art thin-film photovoltaic cells and modules, and our manufacturing facility is located in HangZhou, China. We are looking for highly motivated and goal oriented hands-on Engineers and Scientists to join our team. What You'll Do:

• Design, test, and validate the optical parts in solar module.
• Communicate with optical vendors for material screening, component customization and integration.
• Report to and assist the senior application engineer for product development.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Advanced degree in Optical Science.
• 2+ years experience with optical design and optical materials characterization.
• Experience with concentrating solar power (CSP) or photovoltaic (CPV) products is desirable.
• Experience and knowledge in optical design software, such as ZEMAX, OpTaliX, and ATMOS.
• Excellent writing and oral presentation.
