Dr. Arthur Nozik
Dr. Arthur J. Nozik is a Senior Research Fellow at the U.S. DOE National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and Professor Adjoint in the Chemistry Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has published over 160 papers and book chapters on solar, and holds 11 U.S. patents. Dr. Nozik is a world renowned authority on solar energy and the 2008 recipient of the prestigious Eni Award for breakthrough in solar energy research.
James Robbins
Mr. Robbins served as the Executive Director of the San Jose Environmental Business Cluster (EBC), the first environmental incubator in the U.S. when it was formed in 1994. The EBC specializes in technology commercialization of clean and renewable energy technology, and has commercialization contracts with the California Energy Commission and the U.S. Dept. of Energy. The EBC has the largest private technology commercialization program for clean energy start-ups in the United States. For five years, Mr. Robbins was a Principal in Panasonic Ventures, a $100 Million investment fund. He was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) in 2006.
Chuck Erickson
Mr. Erickson is a seasoned executive with over twenty-five years of management experience focused in the areas of innovative software and hardware development, international business and corporate operations. He has been actively engaged in Business Incubation for the City of San Jose for the past 10 years and runs two very successful incubators located in downtown San Jose. Mr. Erickson was the President and CEO of Digital Pathways, Inc. which was acquired by Symantec (NasdaqGS: SYMC). Prior to Digital Pathways, Mr. Erickson served as President of Olivetti Advanced Technology Center, the U.S. based development arm of Ing. C. Olivetti Sp.A, the Italian electronics company. During 16 years with Olivetti, Mr. Erickson held a variety of positions in the product development arena, from Manager through Director to President. Prior to Olivetti, Mr. Erickson held key engineering positions with Victor Comptometer, Warwick Electronics and 3M.
Fred Greguras
Mr. Greguras is a partner in the Palo Alto office of K&L Gates who focuses his practice on strategic issues for global software, internet, media and life sciences companies - with an emphasis on the start-up and emerging company stages. This includes, in particular, financings of various types, M&A and a full range of other transactions in both domestic and international marketplaces. In the international arena, Mr. Greguras has substantial experience representing companies with a market focus on or operations in China and India, and in supporting investors from those countries. During his 25-plus year tenure in the Silicon Valley, Mr. Greguras has also been a venture capitalist and a general counsel and CFO for a startup.
